South Waikato Airsoft Team (SWAT) was founded in December of 2010 & held its first event in January 2011. SWAT is a Non For Profit Organization with all profits from events going back into purchasing equipment & gear for the club in order to keep the club growing & providing for its Members.
We have Members located all over the Waikato region & beyond with a large range of life skill & backgrounds who are always happy to help their fellow Club Members & Airsofters when in need.
SWAT holds Airsoft events every fortnight as well as traveling around the North Island playing against other Airsoft clubs every few months & to the Airsoft NZ Nationals alongside clubs from around the country gathering once a year for some good fun! SWAT also pays Honor to our Armed forces once a year at the Armistice Day Event held at the Karapiro Rowing Pavilion where Swat has an Annual Airsoft display & shooting range along side all the other great attractions & things to see.
